Will Philips sits down to stand up

A student from Arkansas named Will Philips has sit down to stand up.

He is 10 years old. He wants to become a lawyer and he was analyzing the Pledge of Allegiance. And he said that it says... with liberty and justice for all.

He said that America doesnt have equal rights for gays to get marry. And there are still sexism and racism. He said refuse to stand up to the pledge.

That week, there was the substitute teacher and she got irritated with him on the fourth day and he told her to go jump of a bridge.

He refuses to stand up to it. He's not even gay but he is making a stand even when people call him gay wad. He wouldnt even stand up.

I am soooo proud of this boy.

Lampert fights back

During the AMA Award, Adam Lambert, a runner-up on American Idol who has never been in the closet, he said that he got carried away and his job is to perfect. His performance was very pansexual which includes female and male getting near his crotch. Well that wasnt the problem.

The problem was not when Adam Lambert made out with a musician who was on the keyboard. Like a full on makeout. It was pretty hot.

The problem was when Good Morning America cancelled his appearance. It was pretty ridiculous. There was a group which I'm not sure about, but they were the ones that make sure that everything is suited for children even defended Lambert. It was a night show and he was performing to an audience. I thought that it was a good performance.

Adam Lambert is saying how there is a double standard to this. He feels and I agree that if there were two hot chicks doing it, then it would be okay. But because it's a guy doing it, it's suddenly different and tabooed.

The problem even went onto so many things like Him being on the cover of OUT magazine and his reps are feeling he is too gay. But... if kris Allen was to be on the cover of that magazine, it would totally be okay. That is totally not fair.

DOOMSDAY... not happening

ok... we've been talking alotta shit about OHH we're gonna fuckin die in 2012. this is a fuckin scientific fact... its not gonna fuckin happen.

according to scientists, there is no planet or any form of shit that is going to happen. the sun will not be moving and collidin into us. but what could happen is the fact that there could be an earthquake in CALIFORNIA> WHOAAAAAAAAAA

BIG FUCKIN SURPRISE THERE!!!!!!

WhoopY!!

this is something that we totally did not know before and that we are totally saying that this could happen.

alot of scientist said that they actually hate that there are people who are tryin to make money of shit like this. and its crazy. well fuck YEAHH i agree with him.

and they say how the sun is not gonna be the center of our solar system... noo... that is not true either. what is true is the fact that and this is according to NASA... people make shit UPPP...

THEREEE!!!!

A setback in Maine

OKKK THIS IS IT you dumb fucks.

NO MORE Ms. Nice GAY.

MAINE... youre fucking crazy. im gttin really piissed off right now!!!

So lookin at this article, im thinkin WTF.

I dont mean to be mean but maine... what is wrong with this picture??? EVERYTHING

im sorry and yes i am bias about this but.... you can pass a law on making weed illegal but you cant even let 2 people who love each other get marry. this is getting a bit ridiculous. I feel like I mention this so much but how can this country call itself a free nation when its only free sometimes? this is not that cool. its totally not that cool. you arent gonna let people get marry because they are the same gender but you are willing to pass a law that is basically giving people weed.

Same sex marriage was repealed witth 53% of the votes and marijuana got it with 59%. that is a bit crazy because i think its totally unfair. im sure if a state is willing to give people drugs... im sure they could let people who love each other get marry. but with this one... the answer is a NO. CRAZYYYYYYYYYY

Hydrophobic Lotus

There was a mystery why the water was repelling on the lotus leaf.

There was a lot of speculation but what they know is that there are lots of texture with leaf.

Whet they were trying to do is basically create this effect in the lab. But to make the water repel really well was something that they were missing in the lab and that was the vibration because usually the leaf stands really alone on the stem. So there are a lot of vibrations.

So to make vibration happen in the lab... they went to RadioShack and then the vibration happens then.

All you need is 60 hertz

Washington's Gays for Domestic Rights

In Washington state... the question rises about the domestic partner rights. But this article is more than just... whats happening is that... there are people who are signing the petition about these rights.

The problem is some of the people who signed this petition does not want to be sharing their names to the public due to their safety. Usually, this is fine to the freedom of the speech right and all those shit. But when using this petition in court for verification, its not going to work because they need to names to make sure that its not fraud.

And with the internet, if the names leak out... then its going to be everywhere because you can connect in the internet from basically everywhere. So that's a little bit rough. The protection of privacy and identity in this case os being challenged.

Even o professor from the UCLA Law School specializing in the First Amendment is even saying that the "public access these days is really public access."

The question continues

Nokia has a problem with America

Nokia is a Finnish cell phone company that is the #1 top selling. They us GSM technology which uses Sim Card. People like AT&T has that. But people who have Verizon doesnt have that. It totally has fucked up their sales in the states.

But looking at the future, dude... Verizon is making their next generation of cell phones to be GSM anyways. So its like... duhhh.... theyre not gonna be that bad any longer.

Nerfititi Statue is demanded back in Egypt

Egypt at this moment is requesting that the museum in Berlin return the Statue of Nerfetiti back to Egypt. How funny is it that the government is totally involve with it now?

This was found after the World War where this place that its at was actually destroyed but its cool that its there now. But Egypt is totally demanding that Germany hand the statue over to them now. The question was how did an Egyptian statue manage to get outside of its home country all the way to Berlin. And it gets better, the Egyptian side said that... how could something like that be in Berlin and it probably was taken illegally and if it was then they must have it back.

And of course, the German side said that they have legal documentation of it actually leaving its country.

IT GETS BETTTER.... love how these fuckers are arguing how this and that is theirs. But shit, neither of them has got any proofs that either of them can have it legally. Wow... smart there. Both of you.

I had an idea for my first project and the concept is "Trash to Beauty".

I wanted to make jewelry made out of cardboard because it's something that we throw away a lot and I want it to be something that we all can produce since we have this material. I really like that a lot. I like how when I look on the outside, it's geometrical and plain but when you look on the inside... it has all these organic shapes and I love that.

Gay Activists March on DC

Well . today was the Equality March in DC.

It is such an emotional thing for me to talk about, since it affects me directly. I wasnt present at the March but I am so happy that so many went and help all of us to go forward in the civil rights movement anymore.

What I love about this is that, its hard having people my age, the 20s, at March or things like this. But its the first time that people like me went there and made all the others gays proud.

I am soo happy. The problem that came up ws when Obama came to HRC's gala the night before that he is going to end dont ask dont tell. But he never said when.

Or that he talk about how health care is this and that... but he doesnt tell us how its going to work for the LGBT community, because the US can deny the marriage of 2 individuals of the same sex.

And about prop 8, what I have a problem with is the fact that Obama didnt even agree with it and he didnt say SHIT.

In the article, even straight couples were there to support us and say that they needed to be there, because if one group is getting deny of their rights then how are any of us safe???

To me... that is soooo powerful. I am sooo proud of our people, From the start of the Stonewall Generation to the Equality March of the Prop 8 Generation.... we will continue to fight. And much love to Lady Gaga, we definite are the most beautiful gay fans in the world!!!!!

Il Nobel a Obama

L'articolo di La Repubblica.it

OBAMA o GHANDI????? AHHH Buona scelta!!!!

Lucy... someone fuckin topped youuuu!!!!!

As some of us knows about Lucy, she was the structure that we found earliest ever and how we humans have come from the mutation of monkeys and how we are closely related.

WELL BITCHES

we found someone else whos gonna take lucy's place.

this skeletal structure that we found has prove that we humans are not derived or comes from Monkeys as we suspected but in actuality, our species have a common ancestors and each of us took a different path in human evolution then we changed into what we are.

But yes we still are very closely related but we didnt come from them... we came from the same things but not from each other.

Lohan for Ungaro

Since we took a trip to NYC a couple of weeks back and how it was amazing and that fashion week was going on, which was cool.

Talking about fashion, Lindsay Lohan has taken over a position at Emanuel Ungaro, a designer who is super well-known as a Fashion House that sells couture for more than $1500.

But at this moment, ever since Lohan has gotten a position, the press and fashion critics said... she should have stayed an actress.

I do agree with the critics a bit when they talk about how the clothes were either loose or tight to the point that it looked painted onto the models. I think as a designer, I believe it wasnt just 1 collection I saw, it more like two.

I had this dress that was flowing and beautiful then there were jackets that was not fitting the model well.

BIG PROBLEM: What the fuck is up with the heart thing!!! I was so wrong that I almost shed tears.

Solution from Ungaro... he said he hired Lohan for the publicity, whether its good or bad, its still publicity. So he basically hired her to get more customers through her fame.

AIDS vaccine tested in thailand

sooo.... for the past 3 years... theyve been in thailand... of course where would you like to be. other than the prostitution capital of the world.

what they did was that they gave a group of people the AIDS vaccine which would help them "protect" against AIDS... and a group was given placebo.

the thing with it is that they all were given to use condoms.

with the group that was given the AIDS vaccine... there were 33% less in getting AIDS or HIV.

SOO YEAHH.

But the problm that i see is the fact that everyone were to use condoms but what if we cant guarantee that they use candoms everytime.... itslike... then whats the point?

The Moon and Water

How cool is the world these days???

the moon shows signs of water. how cool is that??? isnt that like totally cool??

the thing with their water is alittle bit diffrent than ours.

what they have is really not water. instead of having 2 hydrogen, it has 1 but it still has oxygen. a way to put this is that it is not one hundred percent stable. cos anyone who knows about atoms.... with just one hydrogen... the molecule is not stable.

maybe in the future.... if it was more stable and that there are more presences of water... maybe.. there could be a future settlement on the moon. but it definitely will be a long long wayy to go.

Design Within Reach: Mix or Match

The second store I went to was this place, Design Within Reach.

Their thing was a bout mixing and matching which was cool.

Out of all the three places... I can imagine working here the most because it was really different in terms of furniture. If you go to other furniture stores, they have simple things but they are not cool. The people who work for this company, they put simple but in a different way. Its not just about having a chair that is functional but a chair that is functional and cool. Something that is different.

This is what's cool about this place. Its the middle ground between art, function, and the nature of that object.

One of the pieces that I fell in love with was this artichoke lamp. It was sooo cool. It was very industrial looking but it has that organic thing too because of the nature of the shape.

Thats why its called the artichoke.

The next thing that I love is this gigantic lamp.

It looks like a table lamp but this company made it really big so it could become the main light source. And it is using one only light bulb. So you're using the same amount of light but its covering more area. Two words: Greenly Fabulous

Guerilla Proj so far

I decided that I am going to be doing the idea of being comfortable in your own skin.

How I came about with that is when I was thinking whether which one would affect people's lives more. And to me... I would want to tell them that they are beautiful then keep telling them something that everyone's been telling them which is being unhealthy. They know that shit

So this pic that is at the corner of the page is the pic that I am going to use all my campaign. The reason I came up with this to show the different body types. There are people who are pear shaped, people who are Little People, people who are tall and lengthy and so much more.

And what I want to tell everyone and I did check and it is my own wording... Tyra didnt say the exact thing but same idea.

Beauty come in all shapes, all sizes, and in different colors.

I purposely made everyone different and what you might not notice but I put the ones that are the most recognizable at the end, the most that are resembling to a man and a woman, and the reason that I do that is because there is how we think of as men and as women but we have more than that. We have the rest between that.

Another thing that I did that we wont noticed is that I made the bodies not symmetrical, because we are not. And that's ok.

Being perfect is boring. And being human is beautiful because no one is perfect.

Droog

This past weekend, I was in NYC. I was in the SoHO area, and I decided t visit these three places, one of thiem is Droog.

Droog:

Droog is all about thinking from a different perspective which I think is so awesome, because that is what we need. NOOO not just thinking outside the box but think from a different position.

They think of what we want but make it into a totally different art form and in a way that we didnt think of before. Like, the solutions are simple and in front of our eyes but we dont put them together.

The first piece I'm going to talk about is this long seat and the first thing that comes to my head is the word mobility. Like I said.. the solution was so simple yet we dont think of it. They had this long like a little simple bench, but on top of it, there were marbles everywhere. Then they put on this circular seat on top. What you can do is then move your butt while on the seat anywhere on the bench and its like WOW. This is so cool. This piece was all about function. Of course theyre gonna make it pretty because its a product and you have to care about making it look pretty. But it was decorative. It just had this simple shape to it. And they took a simple shape with simple objects and make it into this new and improve thing. It was so cool.

When I saw this, I thought of when being in the office and there is tho table for all of your work then there is the table with you computer. And there is the section for files. To me, you can move around on this seat. It was just amazingly cool and innovative with simple things and making it look easy be cause we know that it was easy to think of something like that.

Thats my favorite piece at Droog.

Oma, Japan's Bluefin tuna

In Japan's Oma is such a place for people to go for tuna. And here... we're not talking about a 30 pounder... we're talking over 200.

A fisherman finally caught a tuna but it was much more than that. They called it the winning of the lottery. It has dark flesh. It brought a couple dozens of tourists to taste this fantastic winning. The price for this was up at $10,000. A 220 pounder all cut up in size of brick blocks for sale.

Problem occurred:

A couple of decades ago, each boat that goes out would get about a dozen of tuna but... today, if they're lucky, they would get half a dozen combine.

The mayor of that town said that it was terrible because since there are more tourists, there is festival which leads to more demand of tuna. He's a bit upset that the government hasnt done anything to make this stop because its messing up the population of the tuna and that the fish arent reproducing fast enough.

Also, another problem could be that there are people from other region of Japan or even from neighboring countries like China or Taiwan.

I believe there needs to be rules and regulations for this or there wouldnt be any fish for people to eat in Oma.

President Obama overrides racism

President Obama doesnt believe that what happen at his speech by Joe Wilson was racist.

He understands that there are people who dont agree with him because of his race but there are people who voted for him cause of his race too. So we have to understand that there are people of both sides.

The president had his time with CNN's John King... and say that this happens to every president whether its gonna be Bush or FDR, which I totally think that its true.

What happened was that a conservative said that Barack Obama lies. Wilson did not call him the "N word". There are no evident that proves that there was amy form of racism in this situation. This is from the logically point of view.

What I think is a little bit different. I believe there are racist people in the government and are against our president. I know there are, because there will always be racist people. Period... well at least this time. Possibly. Joe Wilson could be apart of that. We do not know. But being a minority... I think that it COULD be racist. I'm not saying that it is. But it could be.

I believe that the president is doing such n amazing job and that he's doing the right thing, which is him trying to move past it. He says that he doesnt think that it was a racial slur at all. He is trynig to move away from all of that; it is such a good example for all of to take after because if the president want us to move past race and not look at the color of our skins then why do we need to keep focusing on it.

I believe he is doing a great job.

Tech Ideas From Twitterland

This is not gonna be a long post but what I really find interesting in the newspaper was about what we want... and how we found it on twitter.

Ok... so Steve Jobs, the Apple guy as you know it. Came back out of in jury.. with a new iPod Nano that has widescreen and a fuckin camera.

I'm seriously thinking that... could we add anymore camera into things in our life? That's what i wanna leave with yall.

And finally witht he twitter, some shit that they came up with is kinda good.

A kinetic motion charging cell phone... I mean we have it for watch... thats moneyyy.

orrr the other one that i really like is the keyboard that could pop out crums...

for me, i dont use tho qwerty keyboard like everyone else. I use Dvorak... seriously... they need to make a kefboard that doesnt have that letters on it. but have light show through it when you change you keyboard style.

But What i have a problem with is... how could we get even more camera into our lives? thats alll im saying

Newspaper #1 Being a democrat... you know what I'm gonna task about

So... lemme talk about Obama's speech.

WAIT... NO... LEMME TALK ABOUT THE FUCKIN REPUBLICANS who are fuckin rude enough to "boo" the president who was giving a speech on one of the biggest problems in the US.

How dare you dumb asses boo our president who is trying to give a really important speech. When they were booing him... it was when he said that the illegal immigrants will not have health insurance.... well duh and now they're calling him a liar.

Illegal immigrants wont be able to get it anyways. So what was the point of booing him? Yeah fuckers.

Health care in this country is soooo expensive. So many people in this country just cannot afford it. Per person... its about 200-300 dollars.

I know that people are thinking... oh its not that much but are you kidding me? When its not just you.. its your whole family... your kids... your husband... your wife. It really adds up.

What Barack Obama is trying to do is to make it accessible to everyone in this country by making it lower in cost and not having the health care providers turn individuals away whose had previously existing condition.

From experience... I know this lady who had cancer and the provider tried to send this paper full of rubbish on how their insurance would cover the cost. Well she thought that it was a bit weird. So she didnt sign shit. A couple of months later... they started paying for the cancer cost.

These people who are suppose to help us dont help us but actually are hurting us. If theyre gonna hurt us... it makes us think of why should we have insurance if its gonna cost us a lot too?
Thats stupid. Either help us or dont help us.

This is whats good about his plan is that its going to help us. There are those fuckers... who dont wanna get it and cant pay for the shit that they go through. Well fuckers... its tax payer like me that have to pay for your shit. And you say how you dont give a shit. Welll think of yourself that if you have to pay for oher peoples shit all the time, the shit that they get and you get stuck paying for it. GEE... I wonder how youd feel.

The president says that this is going to provide us security and stability.... welll bitches.... if it does... welll we know that our president is the shit.... if he cant..... he's a fuckin liar and then we'll know how he is.

Yes I am a democrat.... I'll admit it. But at the same time... we are a country of freedom. There should be a choice for people who dont want health care too. Because... we are not a communist.

BUT... going back to my original point, if its hurting someone else... then we need to put a stop to it.

Thats my view on it. So how it ends up... I dont know. But I think we should have health care that will provide stability for everyone NOT just people who already have it.

We have come soo far for this plan. Its been furthest along than its ever been, which is amazing.

From Roosevelt now to Obama... its taken almost a century... I think its time for this action to move forward.

Guerilla Marketing Tactics

The Guerilla Marketing Tactic is something that was defined by Jay Conrad Levinson.

It is a tactic that create a buzz and provoke feelings. When using this method, it should be something small, cos those tend to work better. It should be something that is in the public's eyes. It should be working on the human psychology becos its the first thing that is going to affect our thoughts. You want to evoke the shit that comes to our first mind first. You dont want to care of what other businesses are thinking but you want to think of what the consumers are thinking cos you want them to think what you want them to think.

Do Good Design by David Berman

When we design any form of products, we need to not only make a good design... like Berman said... do good.

In 1997, designers had to redesign the emergency sign in the airport of Germany. Why did we have to do that?? Because it was too small and people died from the result of poor design of the necessity. NOw we fuckin know that we need to design it with a purpose and a beauty. As Bill Max said.. we need to put in 90% for the function and something to work and the other 10% to make it more beautiful. Our job is to not only make something beautiful but make it work. As designers, we need to have a voice.

How we decide to do shit.. it is up to us. But we obviously know that its a world of business. When I think of this situation... I think of the quote that I live by, "Take what they give you, but dont just imitate or duplicate it, but mold it and shape it to your own use."

We get a job. We do what they want but we want to do it our way that they are satisfied with and that we get our message across.

We are not gonna be just designing to the people but we need to be designing for the people. That is totally important. We think of it as... we need to please them but what we need to do is make their life better. Just because they have our product doesnt mean that they're gonna be better. They're happy cos they they have shit, not cos they affected by shit.

Edward R. Murrow said how the instrument give us ability but it doesnt determine our ending. Just because the world around provide us with the ability to provide... doesnt mean that its going to determine our lives. WE alone determines our lives.

The future that is held in front of us is the project for all; to some, it is a project to use it better, to operate it smoother, and to make it stronger, but to many of us, it is to destroy it faster.

What is design skills?

Design skills to me are skills that you need to do any form of designing.

The things that you need for designs to work:

-Recognition
-Story Telling
-Visual Communication
-Representation

http://www.lukew.com/ff/entry.asp?613

You have to make sure that everything is recognizable... if people arent able to make a connection to your piece of work... hows anyone going to be able to understand our piece? and if we dont then our design is not gonna change the world. As designers, we have to manipulate patterns that are going to create meaning in people's mind. And that's truly important. Also what it needs is to tell a structured story and message.

With the story telling... what you need to know is the fact that we need to make it clear. The question we need to ask them is why do you wanna hear about this? Why do you want this product? It needs to tell people why they need to give a shit about what you're doing.

With the visual communication, we need to be able to show the data that we have collected in and show it in a human way of communication. Not only that, we need to give it points of view... multi paints of views. Because it would give it a message of what we are trying to say with what we produce.

And our final step into making that final product amazing is to think of what the outside see. Because we are tryin to figure out what the consumers want. It is soo important, to give what the consumers want and still make a difference. That is so important.

Design thinking:

Personally, its about thinking about the future. You need to think how we can improve the world. Just think outside the box. Its all about innovation.

To do "design thinking" this is what you need:

"define, research, ideate, prototype, choose, implement, and learn" got this from wiki

those are the shit that you need to do.

Creativity is also something we need. its simply THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX. PERIOD

Question????

What is Social Design?

Social Design is all able designing for the world.

Like how this class was called...

Design like you give a damn.

Lemme change that....... design like you give a SHITTTTTT.... is more like it.

This topic is all about making shit that is going to change our world and improve mankind and everything about us.

This is not just about improving us. But help everyone, even just the third world countries.

What I like is that Amartya Sen said that poverty is seen as the deprivation of capabilities.

DUDE... America is not poor when it comes to capability. We're poor cos we dont do shit. We're poor in the sense of acting on shit. It took the Black Civil Rights movement till the fuckin 1960's for some shit to go down. And that's big. Well when it comes to helping based on art. SHITS are not gonna get done.

What we need to do with this is to make social design in our lives. Make a living an something that people need to have... that way they spend money that is going to help us help them.

We just need to make shit that is going to change people's lives. We need to change the way we live.

NOW... im gonna talk about why I have that Postsecret picture.

to many people, they might be think that post secret is just post secret. but its so much more. soo many people do it to change other people's lives. and what i think of this portcard that is very social design was the fact that this individual is letting us know that whether they are handicap or not. they are not weak. WE ARE NOT WEAK.

and i thnk that is jsuch a social design factor. to me... social design is making a difference. and this postcard is making a difference.

Creative Caffeine

When I went to so many places to take pictures, what I thought was a bit funny was how we Americans are really ironic.

Problem 1: ... we say shit like, "We need to be skinny. We need to be healthy. We need to be size two." I understand that people are fat here in America. We complain about it but dont do shit. And we always talk about portion control... and we dont do shit to change it. I love it when we tell people that being Americans, "...we can help them change their lives like in Iraq, we need to promote democracy..." if you wanna help people with their shitty problems... PLEASE help our own country first.

We think its important on how we need to save lives on a worldly basis like ours. AKA trying to stop nuclear weapons. I understand that. Of course, but when we go and "spread democracy"... please... that totally doesnt help us. Then we say that we're trying not to be selfish... DUDE... in this world... we need to be selfish. If we're selfish in the sense of helping our people with health, I believe that this is so rewarding.

We think that being fat doesnt kill us... ARE YOU FUCKIN INSANE?

There are so many kids in this country that will be growing up obese and has a very high chance of dying at the age of 40 years old. Im not sure why people dont think that its important but I believe that if your ass is here till your 40 while others are here till they're 70, I think thats a bit of a problem.

And with this, it starts in our home, our school, our environment, that's why this nation need to step in and intervene with our unhealthy choices.

Problem 1.5:

We talk about how we need to focus on inner beauty and not give a shit... well it aint gonna happen when our world is revolving around beauty and cosmetology.

Its like Maybelline: Maybe she's born with it... maybe its Maybelline.... well theyre saying that we're not pretty.

Problem 2: If we have a law stating we cannot drink or use alcohol until the age of 21... then why the fuck would you have a liquor store right next to the grocery shop?

Lemme answer that... because its easy. That's why we do it. You're fucking insane. And in so many homes, there are parents who have alcohol lying around in the same cabinet as snacks. These parents are the same ones that tell their kids to not drink when they go out and be responsible, or dont drink and drive. How funny is that when parents are a model of their kids and they should be showing the kids... not just telling tho kids. Its ridiculous.

What we need to do is that, there should be a law that states, no drinking alcohol while a minor is present at the same table or something. There are kids that are mature for their age and there are kids that are immature for their age.

We need to be careful of that.

Just to clearify, I dont drink alcohol that much.

But... I think we need to lower tho age limit to 18. Kids these days' I think the reason a lot of kids drink is because its not legal. Already gone through that stage in my life... yes I wanted to becauses I wasnt suppose to do it. Also because my friends did it. We need to change kids' minds to think differently. That starts with parenting.

Problem 3: Recycling

NOOOOOO.... dont tell me that spreading your fucking trash is hard. Its not hard. Throwing shit away in one trash can is just more convenient. Why are we stressing on recycling when we dont do shit to change it?

When you go to Japan, they have trash cans for everything they can recycle. Its in their system to do it. Its not even forced. Its something that is just natural.

Need a solution?????? Well I just told you.... emulate Japan.

OH OH addition to that... sometimes people need more education an things. There are things that we're not sure if we can recycle... so its more convenient for us just to throw it in the garbage and not think twice.

Here are the pics:

See what i was trying to get at.

Designers, Visionaries + Other Stories Foreword/Intro

From reading this, what I thought was how we as designers are affecting the world this much. Bruce Nussbaum talk about how we fuck up his word. I totally fucking agree.

This intro focuses on how we affect the world physically, I agree with that but what I think is worse is the fact that its affecting us mentally and emotionally.

We all have a choice but our responds are always "No I dont have a choice"... thats all bullshit. They say that its our job thats on the line. Well if we dont act now... this is our lives on the line.

The article talks about what I just talked about... making up excuses on the fact that they dont have a choice which they always do.

Everything from advertisement, commercials and even when they say the MAC laptop is going green... its greener but they are also correct at the fact that there are matters, energy, and sooo many other shit in it that would be better for something else. And while doing this... its taking all the damn resources.

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We're dumbasses including myself..... I know I'm a fuckin Hypocrite cos I love MACs but as soon as the advertisement design by people said that its the greenest laptop suddenly people start to care. DUDE, we say how we wanna go green... but what we're doing is still not green. Its green-ER not green.

Its like say that Tyra Banks is fat now... NOOOOOOO she's fat-TER. NOT FAT!

I love how they mention that there are designers who feel bad and try to change.

The keyword is Try. The author said how we need to get up and make changes. But seriously, people arent even aware of the facts like these things that they are doing. HOW FUCKIN IRONIC. This guy is helping our planet. HOW??

Well, he is educating us about the fact that we didnt even know... that I didnt even know. He is telling us of how ridiculous we are to buy a product that kills our planet when we preach about saving it. Just because they say its greener... doesnt mean that its gonna help our world.

But we can look at the sense of... could we really get it 100% green???? Thats the question that we need to find a solution to.

At the Design exhibit in London in 2006, 53% said that we went be able to go 100% green and the other 47% think that we can.

Whats the answer??? No one fuckin know at this point.

The author mentions the fact that it all starts with the design to make it green. And its hard to buy green shit. This is where I disagree with the author. Its fuckin hord to design green product too.

Are you kidding me?

If we're gonna go green... we need to figure out a way for us to go back to the man cave era for christ's sake.

And how are we gonna be saving the damn world and be happy with less technology? (most technologies arent green.)

As humans, we love technology. And we're selfish. It would take an empire of mankind to go back to the original way to make this Earth healthy and everyone is wayyyy tooo selfish to do that. Ridiculous!!!!

We wanna think about the world but we are warped into our happiness and we forget about others. Lets be real... if you have a business and you want it to sell. You dont give a shit about global warming or the other shit that comes with it. We think "ohhhh just let other people do it"... we all fuckin think that. It is fuckin crazy. Everyone is selfish.

Ok... now talking about organizations that help this world... BULLSHIT.

I agree with the author.... they dont do shit. They brag about how... theyre TRYING to help the world.

Again...... TRYING is the keyword. But they dont CHANGE shit. They TRY to change shit, but it dont work.

OHHHH OHHHHHH

Lemme say a bit about shit like ohhhh we cant do this and that. they say shit like that cos Its MONEYY.

I mean i understand that GW Bush screwed us with debt. But America spends money on shit like war and terrorists that dont exist.......................... and we can do more research and/or produce more shit that is green.

LIKE shit that use wind and solar power.

WE have it but doesnt want to expand it.... YEAH and we spend countless shitty hours on WAR and Sadam who isnt connected with osama/chickenshit.

WOW.

This essay definitely says... we need to change our lives. THANKS...

There may be a part 2 cos i wanna say more, to be honest.

Sexual Offenders

So I was reading this article in the newspaper and it was talking about Registries for sex offenders.

The issue that came up was how are we going to keep track of these individuals.

The states require these people to send them in a postcard every year, reporting where they are at. That is the only contact that is really necessary but lemme ask you... are you fucking shitting me??

According to the newspaper and to myself, there is a problem for people because these people could just lie. And when the lying is in affect, we dont fuckin know where these people are, even though if you're gonna have a sex offender locator. That's issue number 1.

Phillip Garridos is this sex offender who kidnap this girl 20 years ago. And stuck her in this tent in his backyard. And of course, the cops have paid his house visits, but didnt find this girl.

Are you kidding me?????

More on this topic, there are 100,000 sex offenders unregistered. There are over 650000 sex offenders. And wanting to locate sex offenders are hard.

Know why?? There are different types because there are people who rape children and there are people who were naked in public in front of their house.

See the problem with the sex offender registrations?????

EXACTLY...........
